eMpulse Test Systems has been a global supplier of test and simulation equipment for over forty years. We are the industry leader in supplying servo electric systems to customers worldwide, with over 200 products globally.  Our customers and installations can be found across the globe, with operations in Asia, Africa, Europe, North America, and South America. We’re dedicated to helping our customers develop safer and more reliable products.

History

Since the early 1980s, eMpulse has partnered with innovative companies to develop testing and simulation solutions. With commitment to advancing testing solutions and industry standards, we’ve grown from our founding in Michigan to a global company on the forefront of testing and simulation standards. From simultaneous dual-axis testers to our current servoelectric actuation technology, we meet our customers’ testing challenges with extensive experience and integrative technology.

EST started business as Kimball in Holland, Michigan building simultaneous Dual-Axis Testers and custom E-D Shakers.
EST begins rebuilds and upgrades of other OEM shakers, and offers custom environmental test solutions.
TÜV SÜD America acquires EST.
TÜV SÜD partners with Roehrig engineering to develop the first Electric 4-Poster actuator. Prototype completes durability/reliability testing later at TÜV SÜD.
TÜV SÜD delivers multiple In-Ground BSR Ambient & Environmental Four Posters, including 8 ePosters.
The next generation Servoelectric Actuator, the SEA is developed. SEA 4-Poster #1 sold immediately following durability/reliability testing due to the significant advantages over the old technology.
TÜV SÜD delivers 36 SEA Four posters and 9 single axis SEA test systems.

A Manager Buy-Out of TÜV SÜD's EST division results in the creation of eMpulse Test Systems.

eMpulse adds a European office.
Expanding on their 40 years of success eMpulse introduces new servo electric products, such as the seaMAST, to the testing markets.
